Master Financial Communication That Actually Works
Stop sending emails that get ignored. Learn to present numbers in ways that make stakeholders listen, ask questions, and take action. Our autumn 2025 program starts with how people actually process financial information.

Numbers Don't Speak for Themselves
You've spent hours on that budget report. The numbers are solid. But when you present it, eyes glaze over, questions miss the point, and nothing changes.
Here's what I've learned after fifteen years watching talented finance professionals struggle: technical accuracy isn't enough. The gap between what you know and what others understand is where decisions fall apart.
We teach the stuff that doesn't show up in accounting courses. How to frame a variance report so operations actually fixes the issue. How to present forecasts to executives who think in strategy, not spreadsheets. How to write emails that get read instead of forwarded into oblivion.
Our BackgroundWho's Teaching This Stuff
We're not consultants who parachute in with theory. Both of us spent years in finance roles where bad communication cost real money and real stress.

Darren Fitzwilliam
Communication Strategy
Spent twelve years as a financial controller watching brilliant analysts fail to get their ideas across. Started teaching this because I was tired of seeing good work ignored because of bad delivery. Now I help finance people communicate like the experts they are.

Blythe Tremaine
Presentation Skills
Former CFO who realized too late that half my job was translation. Took me years to figure out how to present financial data to people who don't live in Excel. Now I teach the shortcuts so you don't have to learn this the hard way like I did.
How the Program Actually Works
No theoretical frameworks. No abstract concepts. Just practical techniques you'll use the week after you learn them.

You're Not Sitting in a Lecture Hall
Maximum eight people per session. You'll bring your actual work—real reports, real presentations, real emails that aren't working. We'll fix them together.
Everyone's dealing with similar problems, just different contexts. You learn as much from hearing how others tackle their communication challenges as from the structured content.

You'll Actually Present Stuff
Every session includes practice presentations. Not the polished, rehearsed kind—the messy, first-draft kind where you figure out what works.
Darren and Blythe watch how your audience reacts in real time. They'll stop you mid-sentence when they see confusion forming, show you exactly where communication breaks down, and help you adjust on the spot.
